Hey, I'm Paula Heckenast!

I founded City Lights Beauty Agency to make beauty more accessible and empower people to feel their best through personalized makeup artistry & hair styling. Since launching, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with amazing clients—from brides to celebrities—and help them achieve confidence through beauty services that last through anything AND look amazing in person and on camera.

Throughout my journey, I’ve been able to:

How do I know if my date and time is available?

We have a network of professional artists, stylists and creatives in most major cities. Please complete the contact form.

Can I book a last minute appointment?

Yes, please complete the contact form to request an appointment.

How do I provide hotel room numbers and location details?

Hotel:

Upon check in to your hotel, please email us @ [email protected] + text our business line @ 813.945.6386 with your hotel room information (and specific tower/elevator if applicable). If we have any questions, we will contact you via phone or email

Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment, to meet them downstairs or at the selected elevator (if they are having trouble accessing your hotel room).

Private Estate:

Please email us at [email protected] if there is a gate code needed or you need to provide specific instructions with accessing your location/address ie: Driver's License for front gate attendant. Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment if they are having trouble accessing your location/address.

Do you offer makeup classes?

Yes, we offer both group and one-on-one makeup classes that cater to all skill levels. Check our ‘Classes’ section for upcoming dates and details. We also encourage you to join City Lights Beauty Society for 2 Live Lessons per month.

What safety measures do you implement regarding COVID-19?

Your safety is our priority. We adhere to strict sanitization protocols and follow all local health guidelines to ensure our clients’ well-being.

How much for makeup?

Since every event is unique, we will need more information in order to provide you with the most accurate quote. The easiest way is to complete the contact form or send us a text.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

Yes! Did you know there are 3 different airbrush formulas? Water based, silicone based and water proof. Check out our blog to learn more!

Is there a place I would come to?

You can come to us or we can come to you for bookings. To avoid on location fees you may also opt to go to your service provider's location.

Do you do makeup for prom?

Yes, we offer both makeup and hair styling services for virtually every type of event, production and beyond. Including prom!

Are lashes included?

Yes! Lashes are always included! We never charge extra for things some may consider "upgrades". That's the City Lights Beauty Standard.

Where are you located?

Home office is located in sunny Tampa, FL but we have artists in Chicago, Dallas, NYC and LA to name a few! Take a moment to fill out our contact form so we can check your area!

Do you travel?

Yes, we travel anywhere Internationally with artists based in the USA.

How long does hair and makeup take?

We like to allow 2 hours for both hair and makeup.

Do I need to bring anything to my session?

No, however you are welcome to bring any must haves. Favorite lipstick? Mascara? You're welcome to bring any preferred products that you know and love.
